Website Improvements
Brian Tomlin Friday, 18 May 2012 16:20 PDF Print E-mail

We have begun the process of updating the Gratz Historical Society website and blogs. This has become necessary to improve the look and functionality of the sites and to improve the technical function and security of our sites. This process will continue throughout April and May and should be completed by late May. During this time you may experience delays or times when parts of the site do not function properly. As the updates are completed you may notice that some of the bookmarks to our sites no longer work. All the content currently on the site and on our blogs will be kept online but may have a new link. We apologize for this but it is a one-time upgrade.

As of 4/10/2012 both the Society blog Die Tseiding and the Mahantongo Heritage blog have been upgraded. We have migrated the blog to the Word Press format (previously it was Joomla, like this site). The  Civil War Blog has always been in Word Press and does not need to be updated. Soon the upgrading of the main gratzpa.org site will begin.   The new gratzpa.org will debut on Memorial Day weekend.

Preview the new site here. Note it is still under construction and that content is still being added.
